Levocetirizine comes under a class of anti-allergic or antihistaminic agent (an orally active and selective H1-receptor antagonist) which is effective in treating symptoms related to allergic conditions like hay fever, chronic nettle rash, year-round allergies like dust or pet allergies, etc… This medication is mainly indicated for the relief of symptoms related to seasonal & perennial allergic rhinitis and also the symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria.
The recommended preliminary dosage of DROCET in adults & children aged 12 years and older is 5 mg once daily in the evening. However, the children between the ages of 6-11 years may be sufficiently controlled through 2.5 mg (Half tablet) of TRULEVO once daily in the evening.

If you are allergic to levocetirizine, or to cetirizine or to hydroxyzine or having other allergic conditions, you need to talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking DROCET tablets. These tablets may contain inactive ingredients which can produce other allergic reaction or other health issues.
If you are suffering from kidney disease, striving-urinating or other medical issues, tell your doctor about your medical history before starting to take DROCET.
DROCET may make you lethargic, so don’t drive, don’t use any machinery or perform any other activity that requires high mental alertness until you are highly confident that you can easily & safely perform such activities.
